Flat Life

Y6 have been working on a transition unit about FlatLife. It is about different people living and getting on with each other. We made our own flats using shoe boxes - we made furniture - chairs, tables, beds. We also made characters for our flats - using clay.

We worked on our design and technology skills - realised the importance of measuring accurately because some of us ended up with lopsided tables!

We also had to saw the wood - Assven was very good at this.

These are some of our flats:

Subha's Flat contains all the musical instruments she plays.

Kristy's Flat was a bedroom.

Leah's was an ordinary bedroom.

Genesis's was a dining room, she made a table with plates with food on them.

Lauren and Cherish 's. They worked together.

James Chapman had a long mirror.

Veronika

Aberen sewed some curtains.

Jordan made an arm chair.
