Year 6 were recently involved in the challenge of making various circuits. The first was to make a circuit that made a light bulb turn brighter/dimmer and then to make one with a switch, which would turn it on and off. Some children managed to make parallel circuits. They then learnt electrical symbols and drew their own circuit diagrams.
